Old Masters 100% Tung Oil (473ml)

This penetrating Tung Oil creates a beautiful, hand-rubbed finish. This product provides a durable water and alcohol resistant oil finish that will not crack, chip, or peel.

Surface Preparation All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dirt, wax, grease, glue and other contaminants or penetration and adhesion will be affected. WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH approved respirator to control lead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop. Application 1. Apply Old Masters Tung Oil with a lint-free cloth or by hand.

2. When the entire area has been coated, wipe off excess oil with a soft, lint-free cloth.

3. If a second coat is desired, allow the first coat to dry (about 12 hours), then rub down with 0000 steel wool.

4. Repeat steps 1 and 2. Do not apply more coats than the wood can absorb.

Thinning Do not thin.
